德國洋甘菊精油帶有柔和的淡藍至深藍色澤，

色調深淺源於其中的母菊天藍烴（Chamazulene），

也因此又稱為 German Camomile（德國洋甘菊）。

「Matricaria」一詞來自拉丁文 matrix，

意為「母體、子宮」，象徵德國洋甘菊，

自古被視為能帶來安撫、放鬆與呵護的植物。

古埃及時期，

洋甘菊便因其溫和特質而受到重視。

精油多採收於春季，取自盛開後的花朵，

經自然乾燥後蒸餾所得，

香氣中帶有柔和青草氣息與溫暖藍色調，

為生活營造舒緩氛圍。
